      在分辨率低于9km的资料中,PVT方法在诊断台风运动机理方面已有了较多的应用。本研究发现用PVT方法计算台风移速时,使用时间分辨率为1h,空间分辨率为3km的资料计算的PVT速度与台风移速接近。当时间分辨率不变,空间分辨率增加时,PVT速度与台风移速误差增加,空间分辨率增加为333m时,PVT速度与台风移速的误差接近100%。将空间分辨率为333m的资料的时间分辨率提高到1min后,计算的PVT速度与台风移速误差降低为13.5%左右。对于时间分辨率为1h,空间分辨率为1km和333m的资料,可通过对原始物理量场进行空间平滑来降低误差,平滑后的资料计算的PVT速度与台风移速的误差约为16.7%。研究表明,在使用PVT方法诊断台风运动时,不同时空分辨率的资料计算的PVT速度和台风移速的误差存在差异,可根据研究需要选择合适的资料或对已有的资料进行预处理。本研究旨在为PVT方法的应用和普及提供参考。
英文摘要:
      The PVT method has already been widely used in diagnosing the mechanism of typhoon motion. The spatial resolution of the data used in those studies is usually lower than 9km. This study finds that the PVT speed calculated by the data with a time resolution of 1h and spatial resolution of 3km, is similar to the speed of the typhoon. However, the deviation between the PVT speed and the speed of the typhoon gets larger, when the time resolution keeps and the spatial resolution of the data increases. When the spatial resolution of the data is increased to 333m, the deviation between the speed of the typhoon and the PVT speed is close to 100%. If the time resolution of the data is increased to 1min, the deviation decreases to about 13.5%. The deviation can also be reduced by doing spatial smoothing on the variables used in calculating PV in the 1h-resolution data. After doing smoothing on the 333m-resolution data, the deviation can be reduced to 16.7%. This study shows that the deviation between the speed of the typhoon and the PVT speed differs, if the time and spatial resolution of the data changes. According to the request of study, researchers can choose suitable data or do preprocessing on the available data. The aim of this study is to provide reference for the appliance and popularization of the PVT method.
